100-Day Challenge, Day 018

I said a little prayer as I ran through the alley and took it as a good sign that my prayers had been answered as we left the alley.
Sitting there on the little side street was a taxi with its “available” light lit.  It was against all odds, but that was the beautiful thing about prayer.  I walked over to the passenger side window and knocked on the window.

“Jesus!”  The cabbie would have jumped out of his chair if not for the seatbelt strapped across his lap.

“No, Justin, but I appreciate the compliment. Now can we get a ride?”
